What is Benovate Clinic?

Benovate Clinic is a faster, easier way to see a doctor. You can have video visits from your webcam enabled computer or phone visits from your smartphone by logging into your Benovate Connect account at or the Benovate app. Click “Talk to a Doctor” to get started. It's easy to use, private, and secure.


Benovate Clinic offers:

•         Your choice of trusted, U.S. board-certified doctors

•         Peace of mind with a doctor “on call” 24/7 to provide quality care

•         Consultation, diagnosis, and prescriptions (when appropriate)

Benovate Clinic can be used any time, day or night. It’s perfect when your doctor’s office is closed, you’re too sick or busy to see someone in person, or even when you’re traveling.

*Telehealth is available in most states, but restrictions apply to visits taking place from Texas and Arkansas.

What can doctors treat on Benovate Clinic?
On Benovate Clinic, you can meet with a doctor to receive treatment for conditions such as:

·         colds

·         flu

·         fever

·         rash

·         abdominal pain

·         sinusitis

·         pinkeye

·         ear infection

·         migraines

·         other simple conditions


What is the cost?
Doctor visits on Benovate Clinic are typically cheaper than seeing a doctor in person.  Visits are $49 if paid in full, however some member’s visits are covered by their plan or employer.  Talk with your Benovate provider to determine your cost. 


When would I use Benovate Clinic?

  • I should probably see a doctor, but can’t fit it into my schedule
  • My doctor’s office is closed
  • I feel too sick to drive
  • I have children at home and don’t want to bring them with me
  • It's difficult for me to get a doctor's appointment
  • I'm on business travel and stuck in a hotel room


Can I use Benovate Clinic when I’m traveling?
Benovate Clinic is great when you’re on the road for vacation or work. Please note – telehealth visits are not currently permitted when taking place from some states. Before you start a visit you will be asked what state you are in to determine eligibility.


Who are the doctors?
Doctors on Benovate Clinic:

  • Have an average of 15-years of experience in primary and urgent care
  • Are US Board Certified, licensed, and credentialed
  • Have profiles, so you can see their education and practice experience
  • Are rated by other patients, so you can review and select the doctor that meets your needs


How do I sign-up?

You must have a Benovate Connect account in order to use Benovate Clinic. If you are eligible, you would have received a verification email from [email protected] on your group’s program launch date.  For security reasons, everyone must sign up with their own link - do not share it with anyone else.  If you cannot find your verification email, please contact us at [email protected] or 877-BEN-OVATe with your full name, date of birth, email address and employer and we will send you a new one.  


How do I add my spouse?
If spouses are eligible to participate, your spouse will need to create a separate account to use Benovate Clinic.  Your employer may not make this service available to spouses or dependents. Please check with your benefits provider to determine eligibility.

If your spouse is eligible and needs their verification email resent, please have them contact [email protected] or 877-BEN-OVATe with their full name, date of birth, email address and employer providing the service.


What should I do if I have a child over 18 who is still on my health insurance?
Not all employers offer the service to dependents over 18.  Check with your benefits provider, and if they are eligible they should enroll as an adult and create their own separate account.
